Boise State has established priority dates for receipt of your admission application materials to allow sufficient time to process immigration paperwork and apply for your visa. To guarantee you will be considered for admission, the International Admissions Office must receive your application and all supporting materials by the priority date. After the priority date, applications will be considered on a space available basis. Graduate degree programs often have earlier deadlines. Please contact the program you are interested in for further details.
If you are on a visa to the United States, or need a visa to study in the United States, then you are an international student at Boise State University. If you are a US Citizen, permanent resident, or hold refugee or asylee status please see the domestic student admissions page for how to apply.
The International Admissions Office will help you as an international student with the necessary immigration paperwork, the Form I-20, which you will need to apply for a student visa. To obtain an I-20 you will need to submit evidence of financial resources to cover at least one year of study, either through scholarships, personal or family funds
