Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to Idaho’s largest and fastest growing research university, and we’re happy to have you. To get ready to study in the United States, follow the steps below.
Apply for a U.S. Visa
Start the U.S. immigration process by submitting the below documents as soon as possible. Students who are recieving a I-20 or the DS-2019 for the first time are required to pay the 1-901 SEVIS fee online and make a visa appointment at a U.S. embassy or consulate.
- International Financial Documentation Form. (Necessary for immigration paperwork to be completed; can be submitted after you have received your admission decision.)
- Official bank letter or bank statement from you and/or your sponsor showing an ending balance of at least the
cost of one year of study
If you are coming to Boise State from another school in the United States, complete the following steps.
- Complete the Transfer Form
- Request that your SEVIS record be transferred to Boise State
